Our Philosophy
Cooking isn't just about food. It's about confidence, calm, and making your daily life a little more your own.
What you get out of it
Not a diet. Not a meal kit. A practice that gives back more than it asks for.
Real cooking skills
Learn why a recipe works, not just how to follow it. Build intuition that carries across everything you cook.
Eat better, without trying
Home-cooked food is healthier by default. No calorie counting, no diet plans — just real ingredients you chose yourself.
Spend less
One grocery trip. No food waste. No spontaneous takeout because you didn't know what to cook. You'll also learn to shop in season and work with deals, so the savings compound over time.
Know your kitchen
Understand your pantry, learn to improvise, stop throwing things out. Your kitchen works with you, not against you.
A calmer part of your day
30 minutes of cooking can be the quietest, most grounding part of your day, if you stop treating it like a chore.
Lighter footprint
Less packaging, less waste, fewer delivery riders. Cooking at home is one of the most sustainable things you can do.
How it works
No rigid programmes. No pressure. Just a structure that helps you stay consistent.
Build your schedule
Pick how many meals you want and how much time you have. Estìa puts together a personalised set of recipes with no scrolling through hundreds of options.
Get your grocery list
Your schedule generates a complete shopping list automatically. One trip, everything you need, nothing you don't.
Cook at your pace
Open a recipe, follow it in your own time, mark it done. There's no clock. The app tracks your progress so you don't have to.
Build your streak
Every recipe you complete adds to your streak and earns XP. Small wins, consistent momentum — the same logic that makes any habit stick.
Grow your cookbook
Save the recipes and schedules you want to keep. Add your own notes, rate them, come back to them. Over time it becomes a cookbook that's entirely yours.
Who are Estìans?
Estìa takes its name from Greek mythology, goddess of the hearth, of home, of the kind of order that makes a house feel like somewhere you actually want to be. The name represents a philosophy I stumbled onto when I started cooking for myself: everything in your kitchen has a place and a purpose, and when it all works together, it stops feeling chaotic.
The Estìan movement isn't about becoming a chef or following a wellness programme. It's grounded in something simpler — the idea that cooking for yourself, regularly and without stress, changes things. It changes how you eat, how you spend your money, how you feel at the end of a long day.
Estìa is not about recipes. Recipes are a vehicle. What matters is what they teach you — how to season properly, how to use up what's in your fridge, how to make something from nothing and feel good about it. By the end, you don't need the recipe anymore. That's the point.
The founder
I'm not a chef. I'm a math student who got obsessed with cooking during university and started wondering why nobody teaches you how to actually manage a kitchen.
I watched my friends live on takeout and pre-made food — not because they didn't want to cook, but because nobody had ever shown them where to start. Estìa is my attempt to fix that.
I won't pretend sharing this stuff is easy. Getting the balance right between practical and inspiring, between structured and freeform — it's a work in progress. But so is every kitchen. That's kind of the point.
Estìa is live and free to use — but it's still growing. New features land regularly, rough edges get smoothed out, and the people using it now are the ones shaping what it becomes. Your feedback genuinely matters here.
